Misguided Heart

Forty-Eight

Aston

His lips hovered just above my belly button, blowing soft strings of wind across my belly. I twitched and writhed beneath him, until I felt like I was going to explode. He must have sensed my irritability because he finally began making his way a little bit further south.

His fingers slipped between my folds and in one swift movement, pushed one deep inside of me. I arched my back as much as possible, given the fact that his chest was laying sideways across me. His tongue darted out and took one swift lick before turning in my direction and taking one of my nipples into his mouth.

My hands flew up to his hair and gave it a good tug. When he moaned in response, it vibrated my nipple, sending absurd amounts of pleasure coursing through my body. He picked up speed with his finger and before I knew it, I was riding out the first wave of my orgasm. I knew better than to think that we were even close to done, so I pushed up against him, pushing him back on the bed and straddled him. He shook his head once and in one fluid motion, he was standing up, pushing me against the far wall in our new apartment.

I knew exactly what he was thinking. I jumped up and wrapped my legs tightly around his waist, waiting in anticipation for a repeat of our first encounter together. As if on cue, his hand slid down and dipped below my ass. His finger slipped in for a brief second, before being replaced with a much better version. Just like before, my body willingly opened up and stretched around him, pulling him deeper into me. His other hand went to the nape of my neck, grabbing my hair and tugging just enough to make me moan.

My back arched against him and slammed against the wall repeatedly. And just as I was about to let go, his lips fell to mine. His kiss was slow, soft and passionate; it was loving, and I never once had to question how this man felt about me ever again. Seconds later, we found our release together and it was magical. I screamed his name just as loudly as he screamed mine.

Our breathing slowed and he softly placed me on my feet. I smiled up at this beautiful man, knowing that he was mine, before I turned and made my way into our kitchen. The view laid out below, was of tiny specks of people and high rises galore. I reached for the frying pan, as the evening sun was just beginning to set below the Empire State Building.

I sent a quick text to Shelby letting her know that all was well, and I couldn’t wait until her and Braden got to town. I had finally sorted out my own insecurities and worries, just in time to be the maid of honor Shelby deserved. Although Braden and her still lived in Arizona, they were planning on getting married here, knowing that Sloan and I would be super busy. They were coming into town to finalize all of the details and to spend a week with us. I was beyond elated for Shelby and for myself.

I looked down at the three carat, cushion cut diamond on my left hand, sparkling in the evening glow and I smiled. Even after two weeks, I just knew that New York City was going to bring me one of the best lives I could ever imagine. Who would have thought, that the one man who could make all of my dreams come true, was right under me this whole time.
