“Straykeer is the mate and true protector of this beautiful pink Sandroka,” he says, grinning as the creature’s warm blood leaks down Straykeer’s arms. “And you will never harm her again.”
With a grunt, the ferocious and dominant Straykeer yanks his arms out, slicing the creature in two. He is dead before his vile body hits the grass of the valley.
Straykeer quickly slides his swords back into the sheaths strapped to his mighty back and hurries over to his mate.
“What the fuck?” she screams as she crawls backward trying to get away from Straykeer.
Doesn’t she know that she belongs to him? Silly pink Sandroka. She will learn.
More flying caves sink to the ground as she speaks. There will be many more of those vile creatures coming. Straykeer would happily cut through an army of them for fun but he is excited to mate with his gorgeous pink Sandroka and to drink the sweet nectar from her delicious culip.
“Come with Straykeer,” he says in her funny language, the language of the Saku Avery. “There are more creatures in the flying caves and we must leave.”
“Flying caves?” she whispers, staring at Straykeer with eyes full of love and devotion. She is as excited to mate as Straykeer is.
Her beautiful face is turning from the color of pink to the color of white. Straykeer’s mate is so talented. She can change the color of her face!
“Why are you still on the ground?” he asks, curious as to why she is not rushing to him to mate like she is destined to do.
“Are you going to kill me?” she asks.
Straykeer lets out a booming laugh. She is quite funny, Straykeer’s mate. He wants to hear more of her jokes.
But she covers her pink little ears and closes her gorgeous eyes as she holds herself and rocks. “He’s going to kill me,” she whispers to herself in a voice that sounds like a beautiful song. “He’s going to kill me.”
The creatures are exiting the flying caves in large numbers and although his mate is making Straykeer laugh, it is not the time for jokes. It is the time for mating.
The ferocious and dominant Straykeer steps forward and grabs his mate. She screams like a mindusha as he throws her over his mighty shoulder and holds her in place.
Straykeer turns back towards the advancing creatures with a grin. Oh, how he would love to cut through each one of them for scaring his mate but he has more important things to do.
It’s time to claim his spectacular Mandy.

Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.
Something has saved me from the aliens but I’m not sure if I should be happy or even more terrified than I was before. He has me over his rock hard shoulder and he’s sprinting away from the spaceships, which have tons of aliens pouring out of them, so I guess that part is good.
He moves so fast and the colorful ground under his feet is a blur as he sprints away.
This thing is a beast. He sliced through those terrifying aliens, killing seven of them before I even had a chance to pee my shorts.
He looks more human than the aliens who abducted me, although he is much bigger and powerful with blue skin and hair to top it all off. I’m really hoping that he’s on my side but I keep getting cold shivers when I remember the heart stopping laugh that erupted from his massive chest when I asked if he was going to kill me. Yup. I can think all of the positive thoughts that I want, but he is definitely going to kill me.
My view of the army of aliens chasing us disappears as my new blue kidnapper runs over the crest of the hill. He stops on a dime and drops me to my feet.
All I can do is stare. He’s a mountain of blue muscle from the carved ridges of his abs, to the strong sinewy muscles on his arms, to his enormous chest, past his hard rolling shoulders, and up to his thick neck. His face is rough and rugged, the hard line of his jaw both sharp and masculine. His eyes are a mesmerizing turquoise color and I get lost in them for a few seconds before I’m tempted to study the rest of him. His hair is a darker shade of blue, cut short with messy spikes that suit him perfectly. For an alien, he’s really hot.
I’m still terrified but I’d rather die at the hands of a sexy blue human-like alien, than at the claws of those disgusting bug-like creatures.
Say something. Now.
“Hi,” I say, giving him an awkward little wave.
He just grunts as he pulls out his two bone swords in one swift fluid motion. Oh shit.
I gulp as he steps forward, the edges of his blood-spattered weapons looking incredibly sharp. I close my eyes so tight that it hurts as he walks towards me, finally about to put me out of my misery.
“Get on Straykeer,” he says in perfect English.
“Thank God,” I mutter when I open my eyes and see him kneeling on the ground with his muscular back facing me. It’s pure rippling blue muscle and I guess I take too long to admire it because he turns and grunts in frustration.
“Get on Straykeer,” he repeats with more urgency this time.
