Barbarian Box Set: Barbarians of Zandipor Books One, Two and Three

The strange birds are landing. The ferocious and dominant Straykeer runs as fast as the waxertall flies. He sails over the hills where the herd of leaf eating beasts grazes on the grass. They raise their large heads as they lazily chew on the long grass. Straykeer must be careful not to be too loud. The leaf eating beasts as tall as the trees run like thunder when frightened.

The largest and strangest of the black birds floats to the ground over the hill. The ferocious Straykeer runs as fast as the strike of a wicker towards it.

He stops at the top of the hill when he sees the strange sight below. Weird creatures, not from Zandipor, are walking out of the birds. They are not birds after all. They must be flying caves.

The dominant Straykeer’s soum hammers like the beating of a knocksure’s tail when he sees what the creatures with the green heads are after.

It’s her.

Straykeer’s mate. She is more beautiful than he ever dreamed of. Hair like the brightest fire, a nose and chin prettier than the sarang flowers in bloom. Her gorgeous pink body is small and needs the ferocious Straykeer’s protection.

Straykeer’s strong chest feels as light as a cloud as he gazes at his mate. His soum is thumping and his head tingles. He loves her already. He must have her.

A large creature nearly as big as the mighty Turic walks towards her, swinging his large angry claws around as he spits out his strange and ugly language.

Straykeer’s strong body tightens as he glares at this alien. He does not like this creature so close to his mate. He draws his two bone swords with a grunt and rushes forward to protect his mate. His Mandy.

The aliens are slow and stupid and the ferocious Straykeer slices through the first two with ease, swinging his swords with strong arms and chopping their heads off easily.

The others are slow to react. They are not warriors. They are not ferocious like the ferocious and dominant Straykeer. They are nothing.

And now they are dead.

Straykeer swings his sword in the warrior’s dance, cutting off arms, legs, and foolish alien heads.

He never takes his eyes off of Mandy as he fights. She closes her beautiful eyes and covers her cute little pink ears as the dominant Straykeer cuts through the rushing wave of weak aliens.

They all drop in pieces at the ferocious Straykeer’s feet. Two remain. The large one charging forward and the largest one who is shamefully retreating to the safety of the flying cave.

The disgusting creature speaks as he charges forward and with the black dot behind Straykeer’s ear, he can understand his words.

“Get back to the safety of the ship, Emperor Rsordan,” the smaller one says in his vile language. “I will take care of this native for you, my beloved master.”

The ferocious and dominant Straykeer grins as he flicks his bone swords, sending the blood of his dead enemies flying off.

“The pink Sandroka is mine,” Straykeer says as he raises his swords, ready to kill for his mate.

The creature skids to a stop, tilting his head as he stares at the dominant Straykeer. “You can speak the Resitie language?” the ugly monster asks as the Emperor Rsordan disappears into the flying cave.

“The Rock Man gave Straykeer the power to speak,” he says, turning his head to show the vile creature the black dot behind his ear.

The creature spits on the ground. “I will rip Tom to pieces,” he says. “That stupid robot gave the natives his translators.”

The dominant Straykeer turns to his mate while the creature curses the Rock Man. She is watching him with her beautiful eyes that are the color of dirt. Her hands are shaking like the enger tree in a windstorm and it makes Straykeer want to cradle her to his mighty chest and protect her.

But first, he must deal with this ugly creature.

“You have attacked and killed members of Emperor Rsordan’s personal guard,” the vile creature says as he snatches something from his belt and points it at Straykeer. “You will be punished with death.”

“You, disgusting creature, have attacked Straykeer’s beautiful pink mate,” he says with his tight arms ready for killing. “You will be the one who dies.” The ferocious Straykeer looks up to the flying caves in the sky. “You will all die.” Straykeer will make sure of that. It will be a gift from him to his gorgeous new mate, his spectacular Mandy.

The creature’s claw clicks closed and a purple lightning flies out of the device in his hand and eats at Straykeer’s powerful body. It burns as it flows over Straykeer’s strong muscles, trying to put them to sleep. But the ferocious Straykeer won’t let it. He rushes forward, ignoring the searing pain, and sinks one and then two of his swords into the belly of the vile creature.

“What are you?” the creature whispers right before Straykeer lifts him up with his swords.
