Twisted (Torn Series)

Chapter Fifteen

Chloe

As I walked off stage and took my seat next to Jordan, I felt the eyes of several people in the crowd on me. I followed Jordan’s glare and noticed that most of the eyes were attached to several women standing in front of the stage glaring at me. I smirked at them before turning my attention to Jordan, who was watching me curiously.

“You ok?” He asked.

“Yeah, why?”

“I just assumed that he embarrassed you to death up there.”

“Oh he did, but the glares of death I’m getting from over there,” I pointed to the women standing by the stage, “made it totally worth it.”

He shook his head. “I worry about your self-preservation skills sometimes.”

I patted him on the shoulder and grinned. No one would be stupid enough to approach me with Drake a few feet away on stage and if that didn’t scare them, Jordan the Hulk sitting beside me would.

I jumped as my back pocket started vibrating. It took me a minute to realize that it was my phone. I jumped up and started trying to pull it out of my pocket, but by the time I got it out, it had stopped ringing. I had called Amber a few times since my accident, but I had left out what had happened and used the stomach bug excuse with her as well. She called me daily to check on me and I assumed it was her calling.

I was surprised to see an unknown Maryland number pop up on my screen. Before I had time to consider who it was, my phone started vibrating again. I pushed through the crowd, trying to get outside so that I would be able to hear; it was far too loud inside the bar to hear anything. I finally made it to the door and hurried outside, worried that it might be someone calling for Danny.

“Hello?” I asked breathlessly.

“Chloe?”

I face palmed as I heard my mother’s voice. Why I hadn’t considered the fact that it might be her trying to call was beyond me. I think I just assumed that with the cops looking for her, she wouldn’t be stupid enough to contact me.

“Yeah mom, it’s me. What do you want?”

“You know you ruined everything for me don’t you?” She slurred.

Great, not only did I have to deal with her, but I had to do it while she was drunk.

I sighed. “I had nothing to do with what Aunt Jen did, but if you want the truth, I did go there planning to convince her to change her mind. But I didn’t have to say anything; she told me that you wouldn’t be getting anything the first day that I talked to her. You did this to yourself mother, so don’t try to blame me.”

“You’re lying. You always lie to me Chloe. I’m so tired of having to put up with you. You’re a disgrace.”

“If all you did was call me to yell at me I’m hanging up. You’ve really screwed up this time, you know that? The police are looking for you as we speak for what you did to me. You nearly killed me mom, doesn’t that bother you in the least?”

I wanted her to tell me she was sorry, or that she at least felt some regret for what she had done to me. I knew I was being ridiculous, but the little girl inside of me hoped that somewhere in that blackened heart of hers she loved me.

“No it doesn’t. The world would be better without you; without both of us.”

That surprised me; in all the years I had put up with her verbal abuse, never had she once said anything bad about herself.

“That’s not true. You’ve made some really bad decisions in your life mom, but you can change all of that. I wish you would consider one of the treatment programs Aunt Jen left for you.”

She started to reply, but a train’s whistle in the background cut her off.

“Mom, are you at a train station? Are you leaving?”

The train’s whistle blew again as I waited for her to speak.

“F*ck those programs and f*ck you,” She growled, “And yeah, you could say I’m catching the train. I just wanted to call and tell you exactly what I thought of you.”

The train’s whistle was loud enough now that I actually pulled my phone away from my ear. It ended suddenly as my mother ended the call and I sighed. I should have known she’d call before she left just to make my life hell.

“You alright Chloe Bear?” Jordan asked from behind me.

I screamed like a twelve-year-old and nearly jumped a foot off the ground at the sound of his voice. I was in a dimly lit parking lot by myself, or so I had thought, and hearing a voice that close to me nearly gave me a heart attack.

“Holy shit Jordan! Don’t do that to me!” I shouted.

Instead of laughing, he frowned and looked down at the phone in my hand.

“How long have you been out here?” I asked.

“I followed you outside; I heard everything, at least on your side.”

I groaned as I threw my phone back into my pocket. “I don’t even know what to do anymore when it comes to her. She said she was calling to tell me goodbye and I hope she meant it. I don’t think I can deal with her anymore.”

He walked over to me and wrapped me up in his arms. “Don’t worry about her; if she calls again we’ll just have your number changed.”

I hugged him back, glad that I had someone besides myself to depend on who had seen her craziness first hand.

“I never really thanked you for saving me, I was too busy trying to convince you that it wasn’t you fault. So thanks for you know, not letting me die in the pool.”

He gripped me harder and kissed my forehead. “Never thank me for that, I put you there in the first place. I don’t know what I’d do if something happened to you.”

I looked up as someone cleared their throat. Drake was standing behind Jordan with a pissed off look on his face. Where the fates plotting against me lately or what? Every time Jordan touched me, Drake appeared out of thin air at the worst possible moment.

I pulled away from Jordan and gave Drake a weak smile. Jordan tensed beside me as he turned to face Drake.

“Before you get all pissy and jump to conclusions again, let her explain,” Jordan said.

“No need to, I trust Chloe.”

I raised my eyebrows in surprise; from the look on Drake’s face I had assumed he and Jordan were going to get into it again.

“Good to know. Chloe said you two are spending the night in a hotel room so I’m stealing your bunk for the night if you’re ok with it,” Jordan said cooly.

“Have at it, I’ll be too busy to worry about who’s in my bunk.”

I felt my cheeks warm at his words. I wasn’t a prude but it still felt awkward to have Drake say something like that to one of my friends.

“Will you please shut up?” I pleaded.

“Sorry, why don’t you wait in the car while I help the guys carry everything out?” Drake asked.

“Sure.”

Jordan stepped forward as Drake turned to walk back inside. “Go to the car and lock the doors, I’ll go help them once I know you’re safe.”

I rolled my eyes and saluted him before turning and walking across the lot to my car. After sitting down and locking the doors, I watched Jordan walk inside.

A few minutes later, the band and Jordan appeared as they carried their instruments back to the bus. With Jordan helping, they had everything put away in record time. I watched as Drake talked with Eric for a minute, both their heads bent together. He waved goodnight to them and made his way to my car. I unlocked the door for him and he sat down beside me, grinning.

“Ready?”

He nodded. “Yeah, I saw a decent looking place when we came through earlier. Let’s check it out and see if they have anything available.”

I pulled out of the lot and drove in the direction we had come from earlier. Drake fidgeted nervously as I drove. I assumed it was from the high the show had given him; he was always hyped after they performed and I tended to reap the rewards. Sometimes several times in a row.

The lot was quiet as we pulled in and parked next to the doors. Drake got out of the car and grabbed his bag he put in my car earlier, as well as mine. We walked into the reception area and approached the counter to see a pretty woman in her late thirties sitting behind it.

She smiled as we walked up. “Good evening, my name is Kayla. How can I help you?”

“Do you have any rooms available?” I asked.

“Certainly. How many nights will you be staying?”

“Just one.” Drake spoke from behind me.

I wanted to gag as I watched her eyes slowly roam over Drake’s body. “Do you want smoking or nonsmoking?”

I looked at Drake expectantly; it didn’t matter to me, but he smoked.

“Smoking is fine.”

She started typing on the computer sitting in front of her. “I have three rooms available; two with two beds and one with only one bed. Do you want one of the two bed rooms?”

She looked hopeful that he would request one of the two bed rooms. I rolled my eyes as I pulled my credit card out of my pocket and slammed it down on the counter. “We’ll take the one bed room.”

Drake coughed to cover a laugh as she looked me over with a smirk on her face. Without another word, she charged my card and handed us two key cards. “Follow the signs to the elevator, second floor, first hallway on your right. If you need anything, please let me know.”

I bit back a reply that probably would have gotten us kicked out as I followed Drake down a hallway and into an elevator. He was grinning like an idiot until I “accidentally” stomped on his foot.

“Ouch! What was that for?”

“You were enjoying that way too much.” I grumbled.

“I can’t help it; you look all cute when you’re fired up and trying to protect my virtue.”

I tried to stomp on his foot again, but he pulled away as the elevator doors slid open.

“Don’t be mad, it’s cute. It just shows how much you care.”

“Right. I’m going to spend the next fifty years trying to beat off women who are old enough to be your mother.”

He kissed my forehead as we walked down the hall to our room. “Don’t worry babe, I’m not into Cougars.”

I couldn’t help but laugh as I put my card in the slot and pushed the door open. The room was small, but clean with a TV and microwave in the corner. I walked across the room to look out the window. There wasn’t much of a view, unless you liked staring at a gas station and a grocery store.

I watched Drake’s reflection in the glass as he walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I snuggled back into his warmth as he kissed that sensitive spot behind my ear. I always felt safe when I was in Drake’s arms.

“My mom called me tonight.” I blurted out; effectively ruining the moment.

His whole body went rigid behind me. “What the f*ck did she want?”

“Basically to tell me goodbye and how worthless I am. I’m pretty sure she was at a train station, so hopefully this time she’ll be gone for good.”

“For her sake I hope so; woman or not, if I ever see her again I’ll knock the shit out of her.”

“Drake! Don’t say that!”

“We both know she deserves it. I can’t believe a mother would do that to her own child.”

“I know, but just let it go ok? I don’t need to worry about bailing you out of jail do I?” I asked.

He kissed the top of my head. “Only if I get caught.”

I laughed as I turned to face him. “Good to know. Jordan was hugging me tonight because she called me, just in case you’re wondering.”

“I was telling the truth earlier; I trust you. You don’t need to explain yourself to me.”

“I know, but I want to. I don’t ever want you to doubt me.” I kissed him softly as my hands slid under his shirt to the hard muscles of his stomach. They tightened under my touch and he shivered as he pulled away. He was obviously in need of a release as much as I was if that was all that it took to get him going. I smiled as I realized that was proof enough that he had been faithful while we were apart.

“I’m going to go take a shower,” he cleared his throat, “Probably a cold one. Stay here.”

I raised an eyebrow. “Where exactly would I go? The gas station next door?”

“You know what I mean, don’t sneak up on me in the shower. I’ll lock the door if I have to.”

I laughed as he grabbed clean clothes from his bag and walked into the bathroom. He always thought the worst of me; of course he was right this time, I was planning on attacking him in the shower. One way or another I was going to get him to cave before the night was over.

I waited until I heard the shower running for a couple of minutes before stripping off my clothes and the bandage around my ribs. I walked quietly into the bathroom and stood by the shower stall. Drake had his back to me and I grinned as I slid the door open and stepped inside. He jumped and turned as I ran my hands down his back.

“I thought I told you to stay,” he grumbled as he rinsed off.

“I’m not a dog for one, and I don’t listen very well anyway.”

“Obviously.”

I stepped under the water with him and began exploring the hard ridges of his stomach with first my hands, and then my tongue. Despite the hot water running over us, he shivered.

“Chloe, we can’t. You’re not healed and I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You won’t hurt me; I know for a fact you can be gentle when you want to be.” I said as I ran my tongue over first one nipple ring, then the other.

I tugged gently and he groaned. “You’re going to drive me insane.”

I ignored him as I licked my way back down his stomach to the deep V of his abdomen and then further down still. I dropped to my knees in front of him, wrapping my hand around his arousal and squeezing. He leaned against the side of the shower as I started stroking him, picking up speed as I went.

His body stiffened as I wrapped my lips around his hardness and ran my tongue over his piercing. I knew he was extremely sensitive there and I intended to take advantage of that little fact. His breathing became ragged as I swirled my tongue around his tip and sucked him as deep as I could. His hips thrust toward me, trying to get me to take him deeper, as his hands gripped my hair to hold me in place.

Just as he was about to explode,

I pulled away and he glared at me. “That’s not playing fair.”

“Never said I was going to play fair.” I smiled coyly up at him.

He grinned as he wrapped his own hand around himself and started stroking roughly. “Neither did I.”

My body instantly responded as I watched him pleasure himself. It was the single most erotic moment of my life, and I’d had several since we had been together. He closed his eyes and his lips parted as he worked himself to the brink again. I grabbed his hand and pulled it away, knowing that if I didn’t stop him now my plan would be ruined.

“No you don’t. If you’re going to finish, you’re going to do it with me.” I said as I stepped closer to him, our bodies sliding against each other as the water fell over us.

He gripped my ass as he lifted me up and pushed me against the wall, his erection barely touching my entrance. “If I hurt you, tell me and we’ll stop. Ok?”

I nodded as I squirmed against him; trying to push him inside of me.

He smiled as he leaned in and sucked on my neck. “Impatient?”

His mouth moved to my nipple and all coherent thought left me. I clung to him as he slowly slid inside of me. “Ah, you feel so f*cking good. Always so tight.”

He started thrusting, slowly at first, but picking up speed as he went. If there was a heaven, then I had found it; there couldn’t possibly be anything better than the feeling of him buried deep inside me, stretching me.

With each thrust, his piercing brushed against my most sensitive spot and I felt myself building. His thrusts became harder and more erratic as he reached his peak and I felt my body explode around him. I screamed out his name as I came and clawed at his back while my body tightened around him. It was all that it took to set him off; his body tightened as he gave one final thrust deep inside of me and came.

His chest was heaving from exertion as he slipped out and set me back down. My legs felt like jelly and I clung to him so that I didn’t slip on the wet shower floor.

“I don’t care how many times we do that, it always feels amazing. No one could ever compare to you.” Drake mumbled as he kissed my forehead. He opened the shower door and stepped out as he grabbed a towel and started drying off.

I smiled to myself as I grabbed his shampoo, since I had been in too much of a hurry to grab my own, and started washing my hair. I inhaled deeply as the smell engulfed me; Drake always smelled amazing. I rinsed my hair and finished my shower with that dopey smile still on my face. It made me happy to know just how much Drake craved me, and the effect that I had on him.

I grabbed a towel from the rack and dried off before walking back into our room, still completely naked. Drake was on the bed with the remote in his hand, flipping through the channels on the television. He glanced up as I entered, and I watched as his eyes turned dark with lust. He lunged forward and grabbed my hands, pulling me down on the bed with him. I straddled him as he kissed me ferociously, taking my breath away.

“You can’t be ready to go again.” I mumbled against his lips.

“I’ve tried to control myself around you, but now that I’ve f*cked you, my control is gone. I want you on this bed ten different ways and I plan on making sure that happens before the night is over.”

I felt myself grow wet at his words. His fully erect cock was pressing against my leg and I bit my lip to keep from moaning as I positioned myself over him and slowly slid him inside. I was still sensitive from our time together in the shower, and the mere feeling of him sliding inside was almost enough to send me over the edge again.

His hips jerked up automatically and I cried out at the sensations it caused. He grabbed my ass as I started moving above him. I knew I was close, and I wasted no time going slow or gently; my movements were rough and fast as his hips rose to meet me, thrust for trust. Within seconds, I felt myself floating away on an earth shattering orgasm.

My body felt like dead weight as he flipped me onto my back and continued to pound into me to find his own release. He groaned as he came and let his body fall onto mine. I winced a little at the pressure on my ribs, but said nothing for fear that he would move away.

“I can’t move,” he groaned from above me.

“Then don’t, we can just stay like this all night.”

I felt him smile against my chest as his dick jumped inside me. “Don’t get me started again just yet, I need a few minutes to recover.”

I squeezed my internal muscles and he actually growled. “Dear God! Don’t do that!”

I laughed as I relaxed and pushed him from me. “Alright, I’ll be good. Let me up so I can put some clothes on.”

He wrapped his arms around me and held me down on the bed. “You won’t be wearing anything for several hours if I have anything to say about it.”

My laughter turned into a moan as he started kissing my neck. By morning he had his wish; we had christened the bed in far more than ten different ways.
