“Cool.” He picked up the drinks menu still sitting on the bar. “So what would you do with this menu that you apparently think so little of?”
One corner of her sexy mouth kicked up. “It takes a little longer than that to come up with a fix. If this place hired me, the first thing I’d do is have some cocktails. See how the service is and how knowledgeable the bartenders are. I’d get their sales numbers and go over the food and drink menu. I’d do some analysis of this location and the clientele. Then I’d develop the list. If the customers are mainly beer drinkers, that makes a difference. Male versus female. White collar professionals versus blue collar. Millennials versus baby boomers. That kind of stuff.”
He nodded thoughtfully. “So what if the main clientele here were beer drinkers…would it be worthwhile trying to improve the cocktail menu?”
“Maybe. It could attract a different crowd. A well-developed menu can increase revenue and enhance the customers’ experience. I’d have to do the research.”
“Okay, then. You’re hired.�
