Desire Me

Lavida was pacing her room, furious. Trevor. While she was on TV on that reality show, he was on a humping spree. Why would he do that? She had never denied him anything. I’m going to revenge, she thought. No, that’s not enough. I’m going to do worse than that. Then I’ll do my own wild stuff and we’ll be fair and square. I have no time for cheaters. But a voice at the back of her mind was nagging her: if he means nothing to you, why bother revenging? She shook her head. She was going to have fun and at the same time get this cheater totally off her mind and focus. Her mind had been so Trevor-focused that it needed some doing to shift that focus and stay that way!

There had been such “datable” guys on the show. She had not crossed the line. Too many hugs...the guys couldn’t get enough of her rather full figure, well-shaped but still what would be referred to as plus-sized. Her hips, her well-shaped butt, her light-brown oval face, her gap, her sleepy eyes and brilliant smile. And her dance moves.

But she had always thought of Trevor, and had not crossed the line. Even when Carlitto, that Puerto Rican sex-crazed fool had gone beyond hugging and had brought his hand inside her shorts to touch her butt, she had thought of Trevor and pushed Carlitto against the wall. “Behave yourself, you idiot! Have some respect.”

“But I’ve got the hots for you, baby.”

“And I’ve got the hots for another. Keep it in your pants. The next time you put a hand inside my pants I’ll have you behind bars before you can say Puerto Rico.”

Carlitto had been voted off the show in the top five, but nobody but the two of them had known about this encounter.

She recalled all the times she had kept men off, because of Trevor. She had turned down potentially great guys because of love and loyalty, and this is what he had done to her! No, she had to think of something that would make him cry. Breaking up was not enough!

“You know her, she’s gorgeous...big-bodied but well-shaped. She won a dancing T.V. reality dancing competition,” Jamal said, looking around at Con and Lucas to see how they were taking this information. At twenty-six, he was the older than his white friends. But two things they shared in common was their love for biking or riding, and their athletic bodies and serious gym workouts. Each had an impressive six-pack as a reward for their efforts. “I once almost got lucky with her, but she’s got this loyalty thing going about not cheating on her boyfriend. I’m more surprised than you guys that she wants to do this. She must be more stressed than she’s ever been: she’s not that kind of girl, normally. But I didn’t want to ask too many questions...didn’t want to discourage her from this crazy experiment. Might do her good.”

Con and Lucas laughed.

“Yeah, right, might do her good,” Con mimicked and winked. “What you mean is might do you-or us-good.”

“She wants to get her mind off her ex and the whole nasty affair, and we should be kind enough to co-operate,” Lucas said, and they laughed. As if they needed any motivation.

Lucas was a twenty year old biker, and Con’s younger brother. Biking was one thing he had in common with the other two young men in the room. Connor was his elder brother, twenty-three, and Jamal was their unlikely rough-edged biking friend who rode from Inglewood to Long Beach to meet them and go on their crazy bike rides. But Con as he was nicknamed and Lucas were wary about visiting Jamal’s turf in Inglewood as he lived in a “very rough” neighborhood. They were bikers...that is they loved motorbikes! They had met out there on the road, and they were so dedicated to their biking that they had even a gym routine to keep in shape, although they visited different gyms as Jamal lived in Englewood and brothers Lucas and Connor lived in Long Beach on their own.

Lavida recalled her argument with Trevor and clenched her fists. Screw Trevor!

Trevor was slim and tall, and handsome with a darker skin tone than Lavida’s. Lavida was contemplating referring to herself as a celebrity, considering that she had just won a reality show, and some people were already treating her like one anyway. The local reality TV dancing show had been broadcast live for six weeks and her votes had been the highest, although there had been some fierce competition.

“When were you planning on letting me know about you being involved in teaming up against a girl in some group sex thing?”
