They rushed down the flower-strewn walkway hand-in-hand. She felt the slight tremble in her husband’s frame, one that echoed in her own. The night before, she’d insisted they follow tradition and slept at her parents’ home, with Gia. Although they’d had a good time, she’d missed his warmth.
“I didn’t like having you gone last night.” Lorenzo whispered close to her ear. His words and her thoughts always seemed to be spot on.

The vision his fiancé made walking toward him in the body-hugging white dress had him fighting to keep his composure. His Angel was gorgeous in anything she wore, or didn’t wear, but seeing her in her white wedding dress, he’d finally understood what it meant to have his heart skip a beat. Now, as he helped lift her into the waiting horse drawn carriage, he wished they could forgo the reception, and go straight to the honeymoon.
“Don’t even think about it.” Angel’s laughing green eyes stared at him.
He realized his hand was caressing her perfect ass while he helped her into the seat. “How do you know what I was thinking?”
One perfectly arched brow lifted. “Because I know you, and I was thinking the same thing. However”—she raised her hand before continuing—“our families would have a conniption, so we will go and do all the things good married folks do, then we can hide away for the duration of the night in the suite, until we catch a plane for our honeymoon.”
“Why does it sound sexy and sweet when you say that, yet if I said the same thing, it would sound dirty?” Lorenzo sat beside Angel, careful of the folds on the long train of her dress.
“Because I didn’t use words like fuck or suck?” She whispered.
Just like that, the erection he’d worked so hard to keep from tenting his expensive tuxedo trousers couldn’t be contained. Angel smiled, and then her tiny hand, the one he’d just placed his ring on, covered the bulge.
“You are truly my Angel.” He leaned over and kissed her, tasting the flavored lip-gloss she’d applied over the perfect bow shape of her lips.
By the time the carriage pulled up in front of the exclusive club where they were having the reception, both of their breathing was escalated. The tops of Angel’s breasts were like two plump pillows pushed up in the corset type top of her gown, and he feared she was about to fall out with each deep inhalation.
“Are you okay, or do I need to loosen the top of this?” He indicated the back of her gown.
She batted his hand away. “You just want to get me nekkid, Mr. Delgado.”
“Damn right I do, Mrs. Delgado.” He stood and descended the stairs to the ground, holding out his hands to help Angel down, loving the fact she’d started wearing the necklace he’d given her all those years ago.
With love shining on her face she placed both hands on his shoulders, and allowed him to lift her down. Lorenzo swore he’d never do anything to break the trust she gave him. The love and commitment they’d made in front of their family and friends was nothing compared to what he’d promised her the night he’d made her his for the first time. Angelina Delgado was, and always would be, his Angel mine.
