His throat went dry at the mental images her words conjured, and he strode over to lock the door. On his way back across the room, he stripped off his shirt, but then paused and glanced around again before shutting off the light. They were building something together here, something better than the high-society life he’d lived for the past five years, something he’d never thought he’d have. Yeah, some people might think he was crazy for giving up so much, but this coffee shop and the colorful woman who owned it were his heart.
And he abso-fucking-lutely belonged here with her.
