“Tom,” Joe pleaded.
Tom did his best to drive Joe crazy. He rained kisses on his neck and up his jaw before taking Joe’s earlobe between his teeth. He picked up his pace a little, taking hold of Joe’s hand and lacing their fingers together while he took hold of Joe’s cock with his free hand, pumping his fist slowly to match his thrusts. Their skin was warm and beaded with sweat as they lay pressed together. Joe let his head fall back, exposing his neck, and Tom took advantage. His nipped, kissed, and licked at Joe’s delicious skin.
“Please, Tom.”
Tom snapped his hips, smiling when Joe let out a surprised gasp. He writhed underneath Tom, his whimpers and murmurs for Tom to give him more sending a shiver through him. Tom obliged, giving Joe exactly what he wanted. He moved Joe’s hand to his cock so he could take over the task while Tom sat back and took hold of Joe’s legs, pushing them up against his chest. Tom never took his eyes off Joe as he pushed himself deeper and harder with each thrust, his pace quickening, fueled by Joe’s sweet moans and gasps of pleasure.
Their breathing grew ragged, and Tom buried himself deep in Joe, thrilled by the tightness around him and the ecstasy on Joe’s face as he threw out a hand to grab a fistful of the bedsheets. His stomach muscles tightened, and Tom knew Joe was close.
“Come for me, Joe.”
Joe pumped his fist, losing his rhythm just as Tom did. He was so damned gorgeous, his lips wet and parted as he came. The sight was enough to send Tom hurtling toward his own release, and he smacked his hips against Joe’s ass, his teeth clenched as his orgasm burst free as he pumped into Joe. He bent over and kissed Joe as they rode out their orgasms until they were both too sensitive. Tom carefully pulled out of Joe. He kissed Joe slow and deep before removing the condom and tying it off. He threw it away in the small wastebasket by the rolltop desk on the side of the room.
Joe got under the covers and held them up for Tom as he slid in behind Joe, pulling Joe back against him. They spooned, and Tom smiled before placing a kiss to Joe’s shoulder. It was strange. He felt like he’d been waiting for this for a long time. It didn’t make any sense. No, actually it was the only thing in his life that made sense right now. He should be worried or frustrated that he couldn’t remember anything, but being here with Joe in his arms somehow made everything less frightening. He put his hand against Joe’s chest, over his heart, and Joe hummed a lovely little melody Tom was certain he’d heard before. Like everything else he tried to remember, it was fuzzy, in the distance and just out of his reach, but it was there. Tom couldn’t place it, but it meant something to him. It was important.
Tom closed his eyes and nuzzled his face against Joe’s hair. Whether he regained his memory or not, it wouldn’t replace the ones he was making with Joe. It wouldn’t change the way his pulse sped up when Joe entered the room, or the way his heart skipped a beat when Joe smiled at him. Whatever happened, he was lucky to have found Joe, and he had no intention of letting him go.
Chapter Eight
JOE woke up with a smile on his face. He couldn’t seem to get rid of it. Not that he wanted to, at least until he rolled over and found the bed empty. His heart sank and all kinds of troubling thoughts came into his head.
Usually Tom was still asleep at this time. Joe tried his best not to panic. Did Tom regret what they’d done? Maybe sometime in the middle of the night Tom had woken up, memory intact, and run off to his old life wondering what the heck had possessed him to shack up with a guy like Joe.
Joe got up and dressed, though not before giving himself a good talking-to. He needed to have more faith in Tom. His friends were right: he couldn’t let that jerk Blake ruin his chances for a future, whether that future involved Tom or not. With each passing day it was getting harder to ignore his heart or the way his stomach filled with butterflies every time Tom smiled at him. Tom was handsome, strong, with a smile that could outshine the brightest star. It wasn’t just the sex, though that had been amazing. Every muscle in Joe’s body ached in the most delicious way, and the thought of Tom had Joe smiling like a dope.
