Hitched (Hitched #1)

Right now I'm with Vi, walking into the main office of Class A Skydiving, a local business that will hopefully be just what I need for my client, Joey. Because renting a tank didn't work out, at least not in Las Vegas. He took the news well and is now excited to jump out of airplanes. Men are easy.

I introduce myself to the receptionist, who buzzes the boss. When Carl Danton comes out, Vi raises an appreciative eyebrow at him, and I smile warmly. "I'm Kacie Michaels from Hitched. We spoke on the phone about doing a group skydiving for a party I'm planning. This is my associate, Vi Reynolds."

He shakes my hand and gives me a once over that I recognize. In the past his appraisal might have pulled some flirting out of me, but it seems my mind and body are Team Sebastian. I sigh mentally and get down to business.

"Let me give you ladies a tour of our place. We offer more than just skydiving. We have hot air balloons, exotic cars and helicopters. And we're more than happy to work with you on group events and rates."

I take in everything as he shows us their selection of cars, from Porsches to Lamborghinis to anything else you can imagine. A few helicopters are parked under the hanger, and everywhere people are bustling about, doing their job.

Mr. Danton is telling us about his safety measures when my phone buzzes. I pull it out and check my text, blushing as I read it.

Please tell me you're missing my cock as much as I'm missing your pussy.

What timing Dr. Donovan has. I glance at Vi, who, I can tell, knows exactly what's going on, then I bow my head and reply quickly.

You're interrupting a business meeting with all this naughtiness. And now my panties are wet, and my nipples are about to pop out of my blouse. I want you inside me. See you soon. And thank you for the gift.

It's hard to focus the rest of the tour, but I take notes, negotiate a price for their party and leave happy in the knowledge that we'll be able to provide our clients with what they want. I also realize that this company has just solved my problem of how to live up to my promises for the Melton party. I'm feeling giddy as everything starts to line up perfectly.

As Vi pulls out of the parking lot, my phone buzzes again.

I'm imagining the way your pussy tastes on my tongue as I eat you until you come on my face. I want you to scream for me, Kacie.

I giggle. Yes, giggle. And reply, as Vi rolls her eyes.

Mmm can't wait. I suppose you'll want me to suck on your cock again as well. I'll try to suck deeper this time, taking you all the way into my throat until you explode in my mouth.

"I take it things are going well with the doctor?" Vi asks, and I can tell this is going to be near identical to my conversation with Tate.

To avoid that, I ask about Chad. "Is he moving in?"

"I gave him a drawer and space for his toothbrush. We'll see how it goes from there."

"Does he mind what you do for a living?" I've always wondered how she balances a personal relationship while also acting as Dom for men who get off on being her submissive.

"No. He knows that for me it's not sexual. That's enough for him, I think." She almost sounds disappointed, which doesn't really make any sense. She loves her work, so I would think she'd be happy to find someone who's comfortable with it.

"Anything else going on?" I ask.

"Nothing really. Just thinking about my future and trying to make some decisions about what I really want out of my life." The melancholy in her voice deepens, and I know something more is going on.

"That's what you call 'nothing’? What gives, Vi? Are you unhappy?"

She shakes her head. "Not the way I was when I was a bank manager. That job nearly killed my soul. I guess I'm just wondering if this is it? If this is everything for me, or if there's something more that I'm not seeing?"

"I suppose we all wonder that," I say. Though it's been a long time since I've done serious soul searching about my path in life. I've known what I want for a long time, and I've gone after it with pit bull focus and determination. Same with Tate. We never questioned it. We just knew.

But meeting Sebastian has opened a door in me I don't want to walk through. I know there are questions behind that door that won't be so clear cut and easy to answer, and I'm not ready for that much introspection.

"What are you going to do?" I ask.

She shrugs. "Probably nothing. You know how I get. It'll pass after a while. I have a great life. I don't want to upset the apple cart just because I'm having a few off days."

"If you need anything… " I let my voice trail off, knowing she knows I'm here for her.

She reaches over and squeezes my hand. "I know. Thank you. You and Tate are my family. I'd be lost without you."

When we get to my house, she doesn't come in. "I have a client in a few hours and a date with Chad later. But have fun tonight."

"Thanks for coming with me," I hold the door to her car as I stand on the sidewalk. "It was fun hanging with you a bit."

She smiles. "We should go skydiving sometime. That owner is hot."

"I'll pass, thanks. Heights and me aren't BFFs. Plus, we're both dating people right now."

She laughs. "That doesn't mean we can't look—and admire!"
