She smiled. The bond had worked for Bram and Shane, as well as her and Shane. Now she needed her Bram, her other mate, the other part of her soul, the other part of her future.
Bram slowly moved away, his eyes wide and glassy, but she knew it was the pure emotion, the same as she felt. They hadn’t had a plan as to who would mate first, who would have their human halves mate first before marking them as wolves.
“I need you, too,” she said softly as Shane pulled out of her, moving out of the way so Bram could come to her.
“Then take me,” Bram said simply. Only it wasn’t so simple. It never was.
She wasn’t sure what she would do next, but Shane took the choice from her. He lifted her up from the bed and put her in Bram’s arms. He got up from the bed quickly and came back with a couple of warm cloths. He wiped Bram’s cock down before doing the same to her with the other one. She blinked as Bram sat down at the edge of the bed with Shane sidling up right behind him. She had a feeling the other man was exhausted after everything that had come that day and just needed to be near them as she and Bram completed their part of the bond.
Shane wrapped his arms around Bram’s middle and bit into his shoulder. At the same time, Charlotte slid herself over Bram’s already hard cock. All three of them moaned, even if Shane’s was a bit muffled.
She would never get enough of this. Never get enough of them. Somehow, despite it all, she’d found the two men who could complete who she thought she’d never be.
They made her whole.
They made her strong.
They made her…theirs.
Charlotte put one hand on Shane’s shoulder, the other on Bram, and rocked herself along Bram’s lap.
Bram narrowed his eyes, then, his wolf at the surface. He lifted her up ever so slightly, to ram up into her. She called out but didn’t have time to catch her breath as he continued to fuck her. Shane played with her nipples as well as Bram’s, and she couldn’t hold back any longer.
She came, bringing Bram with her. She couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think.
Their bond snapped into place, as well, a lock of pulsing sensation that connected the three of them in a way she hadn’t thought possible.
Bram bit into her shoulder, marking her as his, and her wolf howled in pure pleasure. When her new mate turned his head to the side, she bit him, as well, leaving a mating mark that would tell everyone around them that he was hers. Shane was hers, as well.
And when the final part of the mating bond was complete, she burst into tears.
She could feel her men, feel her mates. They were everything she thought she couldn’t have, everything she never knew she wanted. For a moment, she could only think of the pain that had come when the bond hadn’t shown up the first time.
She hated crying and didn’t do it often. But now she couldn’t stop. It was just too much. She felt everything, and it warred within her. Somehow, she found herself lying in bed, sandwiched between her two men.
They held her close but didn’t say anything. They didn’t need to. They all felt what the others were feeling.
She knew this intensity would fade soon, but for now, she could ignore the world. Ignore the problems that would arise in the morning. Now, she could focus on her mates, her life, and the fact that she was warm for the first time in far too long.
She wasn’t the same Charlotte who had been chained in the basement any longer.
She was stronger.
She was fiercer.
And she wasn’t alone.
Now she just had to figure out what to do about it.
Chapter Twelve
They weren’t Talons yet, but Bram knew it was only a matter of time. And because of that, he would listen to what Gideon had to say and take each word in measure.
It had only been a day since Bram had created a mating bond with both Shane and Charlotte, but they were already doing their best to find a way to make things work.
Bram had honestly thought they’d wake up in the morning and find themselves Talons, or perhaps even find Shane a Redwood. But that hadn’t happened. Instead, Shane remained a Talon Pack member, while Bram and Charlotte were still Redwoods. It wasn’t exactly how things went for most of the other wolves that mated across Pack lines, but their triad mating was anything but usual.
Soon they’d have to make a choice, but he had a feeling they would end up Talons anyway. Gideon was sure that Shane could never break from the Talons now, and had said as much when they’d shown up at the Alpha’s house that morning. And because Bram trusted Gideon, almost as much as he trusted his own Alpha, he knew soon he and Charlotte would have to take that plunge.
In all honesty, it wasn’t a choice at all, and that was something he’d have to get used to.
