“You bit her,” Leo said, as though following Brett’s train of thought. “How was it?”
By now, Brett’s body was moving on its own, following instinct, need, and the knowledge of how to bring Lisa to shattering pleasure. He tried to find words to answer Leo’s question, but nothing came to mind. When he thought of biting her, of her blood flooding his mouth and sliding down his throat, all he wanted was to do it again, to take her blood, give her his—and do the same with Leo, too.
He closed his eyes and shook his head, unable to reply and unwilling to give in quite yet to the pleasure that threatened to take him over. Judging from Leo’s chuckle, he understood what Brett couldn’t say.
When Brett opened his eyes again, another flash of need coursed through him when he saw that Leo’s right hand, still covered by Lisa’s, was now at the apex of her legs, rubbing her clit in fast circles, while his left one continued to tease her nipples, one after the other.
“Oh God,” Brett gasped. “I can’t… I need…”
His vision was turning red, and he could feel pleasure coil inside him, white-hot, ready to burn him to cinders from the inside out. She seemed to know; she always did.

She shuddered against him, pleasure taking her as he started to pull on her blood. At her second shudder, Brett instinctively knew that Leo was biting her on the other side. He barely had time to wonder if they might take too much blood from her before the flavor and strength of her blood hit his tongue and triggered his orgasm. Thunder roared in his ears, lightning filled every inch of his body, and the entire world disappeared into blissful oblivion—the entire world, except for his lovers.
A few seconds—or was it full hours?—passed, and Brett could have sworn his heart had started beating again. He’d stopped pulling on Lisa’s blood, but the taste lingered on his tongue, and his mouth remained on her neck.
“All right,” Leo said in a strangely strangled voice, “that was… Wow. And I didn’t even take my pants off.”
Between them, Lisa chuckled soundlessly. Her legs dropped from around Brett’s waist, and he slipped out of her, transforming her chuckle to a sound of loss. With some effort, given that his knees felt like they were made of jelly, Brett straightened and looked at them both, nestled against each other, the same fire burning in their eyes as they looked at him. The same feelings, too.
“I love you,” he blurted out, the words coming out of him before he even knew he wanted to say them.
Both their gazes softened, and if only Leo repeated the words, they were inscribed in Lisa’s movements when she took Brett’s left hand and brushed a kiss to the ring she and Leo had put on his hand mere hours ago.
“Shower,” Leo said decisively, picking up Lisa in his arms before sliding off the table. “You still smell like the hospital. Then bed. I want a turn, but I don’t think the table can take much more of this.”
He grinned at Brett as he passed by him. Brett grinned back, sheer happiness combining with his fading pleasure as he watched them. To think he’d almost lost them…
He shook his head. No, he didn’t want to think about that anymore. He was here, with them, and they now had forever to love each other.
“Coming?” Lisa called out over Leo’s shoulder, already disappearing into the bathroom.
Smiling, Brett hurried up and joined them.
