Society of Psychos (Dead Men Walking #2)

“Okay then,” Niall said, his voice closer this time. “Let her see.”

Jack lowered his hands and the brightness of the sun blinded me for a second, but as my eyes adjusted to that golden veil of light, I ceased to breathe. The ocean spread out before me endlessly towards the horizon, the water deepest blue all the way out there but near to shore it wasn’t even blue. It was a colour that lived only in dreamlands, like cyan dipped in liquid turquoise.

Waves rolled against the shore and as a splashy one hit the sand, it rushed up to greet me, running over my toes and tickling my skin. My laughter turned into a squeal and I ran forward, tearing off my clothes as I went, wanting to feel it everywhere.

“Mi sol!” Mateo shouted as I stripped right down, completely naked as I ran into the sea and dove into its embrace.

“Let her have her fun. I’ll pluck out anyone’s eyes who looks too closely,” Niall promised just as I got a mouthful of seawater and spluttered as it went up my nose too.

It wasn’t like lake water, or even a swimming pool, this water was alive, playing with me, dragging me out into a depth where I couldn’t touch the sand before tossing me backwards again. I squealed and laughed as it threw me about, rolling beneath the waves before coming up for air and finding myself in a spin cycle all over again. It was getting a little harder to find air between all the playtime, but it didn’t make it any less fun.

Hands encircled my waist and I was plucked from the water, drawn up against Jack’s bare chest as he strode deeper into the sea in his board shorts. Niall was close behind him and Mateo was even closer, the three of them shirtless and looking like the most edible creatures I’d ever seen.

“Keep her angled that way.” Mateo pointed and Jack walked with his back to the few people sunbathing further up the beach.

“Do ya like it, love?” Niall called. “Is the ocean everything you hoped it would be?”

“It’s better,” I said, clambering higher up Jack’s body to look over his shoulder at Niall. “It’s so big. I’ve never seen anything this big.”

“Except my cock,” Jack mind communicated to me, and I snorted a laugh.

“Yeah, except that, AJ,” I giggled in agreement.

We played splashy-kicky-swimmy for a while until more people appeared on the beach and I had to wait in the water while Mateo fetched a bikini for me. By the time we were walking back out of the ocean, my tummy was grumbling for lunch and my fingers were twitching for my spider blade to play with.

We’d spent the last six months travelling the states, roaming randomly from town to town in a huge RV that I loved like a second home. But maybe that was because I’d realised my men were my home, and wherever they were, so was I.

We took the little path through the dunes back to the campsite we’d be staying in tonight. I’d begged and begged Niall to take us to the coast ever since we’d started our road trip, but he’d insisted that I only got to see the ocean for the first time once, and the best place for that was California. So we’d taken our sweet time getting here, and I’d had a blast in all the places we’d seen from Montana to Wyoming, right down to Arizona and Nevada.

We’d spent the last month in Las Vegas, partying, spending money, making money, buying all the stuff and things. It had been so much fun, but eventually the noise had gotten too noisy and the baking sun had gotten too dry for my throat, and I’d woken up one day, packed all my bags and demanded we leave in five minutes or I was going to hurl myself out the window. I’d never seen my men move so fast. And now here we were, and the world was so nice and quiet, the sand was hugging my toes and though we’d only just arrived, this was definitely my favourite place so far.

We walked through the campsite, and I waved to all of our new camper friends who were in their sun hats and brightly coloured shirts, sitting on deck chairs outside their vehicles, a few of them barbequing their lunch and making me sniff the air in hopes of swiping myself a corn on the cob off of a grill.

We reached our RV; the huge black van with blacked out windows and fake plates was our getaway whenever we killed. And hell did we kill. That was what this whole adventure was about after all. We were hunting serial killers and dickmunches who needed putting down. We tracked them like wolves in the night then made a bloody mess of them before Mateo would put his fixer hat on and clean up the pieces. He’d been teaching me to do that too, all his clever little ways to hide evidence and destroy a body. I was a certified professional at this point, and I was surrounded by the best team a psycho could ask for.

Niall unlocked the RV and we followed him inside, the air conditioning washing over me and making me shiver. Brutus was asleep in his bed, but his head perked up as we entered, letting out a bark before his tail wagged and he settled himself back down when he realised there was no stranger danger.

“What’s for lunch?” I jogged to the fridge, tugging it open and eyeing all the stuff in there with a pout. It was all boring yesterday food, no magical new food had appeared at all. I wanted today food. Something different and scrummy and fresh. I threw the fridge door closed with a huff just as Mateo came up behind me and reached around me, rubbing his thumb over my clit through my bikini bottoms.

“I know what I’m hungry for.”

I moaned softly, riding his thumb and grazing my ass back against the huge bulge in his shorts as he laid his free hand on the fridge to cage me in.

“You need more than a diet of pussy to keep you big and strong, el burro,” Niall said, smacking him on the shoulder, and Mateo continued to torment my clit while pressing me harder against the cool fridge. Suddenly I wasn’t so hungry anymore, my appetite shifting to a sausage sandwich that had nothing to do with food.

“She’s so sweet, she’s one of my five a day,” Mateo said and Niall and Jack chuckled.

“You’d better eat like a gentleman off of the table then.” Niall shoved Mateo sideways and my dead man took me with him, dragging me to the table by the window with a bench on either side of it. The orange curtains were open and as Mateo tossed me down on my back with a hard thump, he reached over my head to close them. The sunlight filtered through them and I smiled at the familiarity of it. Jack had shown up with them one day and changed all the boring white ones for these, and now every time I woke up, the whole place was full of amber light and made me feel like a kid all over again.

But I definitely didn’t feel like a kid now as Mateo untied the strings holding my bikini in place and yanked them off of me. I gasped as he knelt down and buried his face between my thighs, gripping the backs of my legs as he lapped at my clit.

Niall took two beers from the fridge, cracking them open and passing one to Jack as he sipped his own, watching me like a hawk.

Jack drained his beer in a long, slow drink, his throat working and drawing all of my attention to the muscles within it as a loud moan left me. Mateo ran his tongue up and down my slit, tormenting me before fucking me with it, making my hips writhe and jerk as he devoured me.

Niall and Jack were hard as stone as they watched me, their shorts tented by their cocks as they enjoyed the show. I whimpered as Mateo’s tongue slowed, dragging back and forth across my clit in a way that had my toes curling and my back arching. His stubble grazed my pussy as he worked to destroy me and I loved the roughened bite of it, grinding myself against his face to feel it even more.

“How wet is she, Mateo?” Niall asked as he propped his shoulder against the wall and took another swig of his beer.
