Indecent (24 Book Alpha Male Romance Box Set)

Finally, his fingers slide beneath my panties, moving in circles, tighter and tighter, focused on giving me pleasure as I try, not to make a sound. Just when I know I can’t take another moment, that I’m going to cry out and the maids are all going to troop into the room and catch us, catch me in this awful position, he slides his hand back out. Now he’s back to my breasts, balancing on top of me, in position for sex, but I’m still wearing my shorts, and he’s still in his boxers.

As my frustration mounts, I tell myself that at least if someone walks in, we aren’t completely naked. As if that would make a difference when he’s making eye contact, staring up at me while his tongue teases my nipple.

His hands are at my waist, and then back to center as he unbuttons my shorts.

I should struggle, I should protest this torture, but instead I shimmy out of the shorts, and let him pull my panties down. I know that anyone could walk through the door, and I’m so ready for whatever comes next that I have absolutely no shame.

He parts my legs, and moves between them, his blond stubble rough against my inner thigh. I let out a gasp, not loud enough to draw attention, I hope, and grit my teeth, turning my face back to the pillows, as he lowers his head to kiss me.

When his lips make contact, my hips push up into him, and I throw my head back, panting with the effort of staying quiet.

“Shhh,” Cruise admonishes me, but he’s so close that the vibration from it nearly pushes me over the edge.

My walkie-talkie buzzes.

I ignore it.

Cruises tongue makes contact with the most sensitive part of my body and I gasp, too turned on to try to keep silent. He teases me with slow circles, his lips and tongue working together as I bite the inside of my cheek to stay quiet.

“You taste so good,” he says, and his dirty words make me want to come.

I close my eyes tight.

“Watch me eat you, Maya.”

I look down, watching his mouth move as he keeps his gaze on me.

And then he’s up and pulling down his boxers, sliding his cock into me in one full stroke, his body taking mine over.

He kisses me as he fucks me, his hips moving slowly, taking his time as his kiss intensifies. Sparks move through my body. This is so different from last night. Hotter, sexier, deeper.

He swivels his hips and his hand slides down over my abdomen, down to my clit as he rubs it softly, stroking me.

“Cruise,” I whisper.

“Yes, baby?”

“I’m going to come.”

“Come.”

I do, the waves of pleasure causing me to buck my hips off the bed, to arch into him as he presses into me fuller as his own release, his own orgasm pulses through him.

He pulls me close to him.

The walkie-talkie buzzes again.

“Miss Bennett?” None of the employees would sound so strident and arrogant at the same time. I don’t recognize the voice at first, but Cruise stiffens.

“Adrian,” he says the name like it’s a curse.

The mood is broken. I sigh and reach for the walkie-talkie, completely aware that I’m naked and lying with my legs spread, in an unlocked hotel room, in the resort I’ve been hired to manage. Maybe I’ll feel guilty about it later, right now all I feel is disappointment.

“Mr. Bancroft?” I ask into the device.

“Don’t Mr. Bancroft me, just get up here,” Adrian snaps.

“Where are you?”

“The office.”

I haven’t been in the managerial office for more than ten minutes since my first day on the job; I’m always too busy to spend any time in there.

“I’ll be right there.” I drop the walkie-talkie on the bed, and grab my shorts, but my panties are nowhere to be seen.

“You don’t have to run, just because he beckons to you,” Cruise says. He’s gone tense with something that I suspect is anger, but perhaps something even deeper. I remember Sheila saying that Cruise and Adrian went to an expensive prep school together, until Cruise was thrown out and finished his education at the local public school.

“He’s the boss,” I say.

“He isn’t your boss, his father is.”

“His father has been MIA since I arrived to take this job,” I tell him. So, Adrian Bancroft is the closest thing I’ve known to a boss, and I don’t intend to keep him waiting.

I search through the blankets.

“Looking for this?” He holds up my panties.

His grin fills me with relief, his anger is so overwhelming, and so different from his personality when he’s at ease.

“Come back when you’re done,” Cruise demands.

As if I could stay away.

“If I can. I’m not on the clock, but I am salary, so he can ask me to do something without it being too over the top.”

“Anything he asks you to do when you’re off the clock is over the top. Where has he been the last few days? How much does he care about this place?”

“I don’t know about Adrian, we’ve barely spoken, but his father seems to care very much. He’s devoted to the place.”

Cruise turns away from me to stare out the window.

I pause, though I’m dressed and ready to walk out the door, because his posture says that he’s about to say something.

“Yeah,” he says finally. “He does really care about this old place. He cares about it more than anything.”

His voice is filled with pain, and I turn back, not wanting to leave him, but he waves me away.

“Your boss is waiting. Better go see what he wants.”
