I leaned back and looked down into her smiling face. For a minute I thought she was pissed but as soon as I saw her smile I knew she was just fucking around. “It seemed like a good idea at the time,” I smirked.
“Am I your first kidnapping victim?”
“First and last.”
“Well, I’m glad to hear that. I don’t think many women would be as understanding as I was. Although I’m sure once they stepped back and took a look at you, they wouldn’t have been able to resist.” She ran her hands down my chest and wrapped her arms around me.
“You’re the only one I want looking at me, baby. After tonight, I’m never letting you leave this bed, though.”
“Kidnapped and then held captive. It’s a good thing I always watched you, too.”
“What?” I couldn’t believe that Mickey noticed me before.
“Yup. I always wondered what you were like. Whenever you talked to me, you scared me. It was like you saw what no one else did.”
“I just saw the way you were treated and knew you deserved better than that.”
“You thought I deserved you, huh?” She laughed.
“I knew you just deserved more, baby.” I cupped her cheek, my thumb brushing over her lips. “I know I’m not perfect, but I know I’ll give you everything I have to make you happy.”
“Well, I guess a girl really can’t ask for more than that, can she?” She pressed a kiss to my thumb and laid her head back on her pillow. I rolled off of her, sliding off of the bed and walked to the light switch and turned off the light. “I’m assuming I’m spending the night?” She asked.
I slid back into bed with her pulling the covers over us and wrapped her up in my arms. “Damn straight you are. The only way you’re going home is if I come with.”
She hummed quietly and snuggled into my side. “I’m good with staying here.”
I looked down at her face, her eyes closed and her breath evening out. I could lay here the rest of my life and just watch her. Knowing that she was mine for however long, she let me have her.
“Raider?” She whispered.
“Yeah, baby?”
“Thank you for rescuing me tonight.”
“You’re welcome, baby.”
“Also,” she opened her eyes and looked up at me. “Thank you for giving me what I deserved even when I didn’t know I deserved more.”
“Always, baby. Till the day I die, you’ll have more.” Mickey was everything I wanted, and she was going to get everything she deserved. She was mine.

Mickey
I snuggled into Raider, my body relaxing into him and took a deep breath. He promised everything I could ever ask for and need, and I would be a fool to walk away from something that felt so right.
“Raider?” I whispered again.
“Right here, baby.”
“Thank you.”
“For what, baby?” His voice was low and rumbly, and I could tell that he was close to falling asleep.
“For being you.”
He pressed a kiss to my head and wrapped me tight in his arms. “You’re welcome, baby. Now, are you done thanking me, or should I wait to fall asleep?”
“I’m done,” I whispered.
“Night, baby.”
“Night, Raider.”
I closed my eyes and knew right then and there this was where I was meant to be. Raider and I deserved each other, and I knew it was going to be one hell of a ride.

Coming Home
Geri Glenn
Chapter 1
“You ready to do this, baby?” Clay asks. His voice wraps around me like a warm blanket, protecting me from both the chill in the air, and the fear that chills me to the bone as we stand here beside his motorcycle, staring up at the familiar house.
I look up at him and smile. God, I love him. I would do anything for this man, and there isn’t a doubt in my mind that he would do anything for me as well. The fact that after ten years of marriage, he still takes my breath away, tells me that I made the right choice the day I chose to leave my family and be with him. Sure, maybe I could have handled the whole situation a little differently, but I don’t regret a single thing about the decision itself.
“I hope so,” I whisper, not bothering to hide the fear I know is shining in my eyes.
“Sophie, look at me.” His strong, muscular arms wrap around my waist, pulling me close until our eyes meet. I will never get enough of staring into his chocolate brown eyes, the ones that are right now showing all the love he has for me, and I have to swallow back the lump in my throat at the emotion. “You say the word, and we’re out of here. Don’t let them beat you down, because we’ve worked too fuckin’ hard for our perfect. I know you want them back in your life, but I won’t let them ruin what we’ve built.”
