First, I want to thank my husband Justin Robinson for everything he did that helped this book come to life. He listened to my brainstorming, bounced ideas with me, edited my books, and was with me every step of the way. He cleaned the house when I was deep in the writing hole and refusing to acknowledge the world. He picked up extra over time shifts to keep us financially afloat while I wrote. He gave of his time, his energy, and his everything to make my dream come true. I will never be able to repay him for all he has done for me. He is the love of my life and I can’t imagine how awful my life would have been if I had never met him. I love you so much, babe!
Next, I want to thank my beta readers and editor for taking my book from awesome to FANTASTIC with their input. Michael Burhans was referred to me by several fellow authors, including the wonderful AC Marchman and Renee Dyer, and their praise of his work was on point. He did an amazing job and dedicated himself to making things exactly the way I wanted them! Of course, my lovely betas, I have to thank for reading the first draft of Tainted Pictures with its mistakes and typos and giving me great feedback. Thank you to Holly Michelle Morales, Trista Baldwin, Heidi Ryan, Clare Mansmann, and Abby Porter Cook.
I can’t forget to thank the amazing authors, both new and established, that inspired me and pushed me along the way. They took the time out of their busy lives to give me advice and encouragement and I will be forever grateful to them! Thank you so much to Sandi Lynn, Renee Dyer, SK Hartley, AC Marchman, LL Collins, M Robinson, Jenn Foor, and Ella Fox with all the other writers of Indie Romance Author World Group.
A big thank you to my three amazing author assistants Holly Michelle Morales, Candy Fontz, and Amie Wake Morgado for putting up with my constant chatter and insanity. This book would not have ever been finished if you guys hadn’t of been constantly inspiring me with pictures of minions and Disney’s Olaf and constantly forcing me off of Facebook. The three of you are the best slave drivers any author could ever ask for!! Holly is from Swipe the Pages Blog, Candy is from Prisoners of Print, and Amie is from We Stole Your Book Boyfriend Blog!
Similarly, thank you to my amazing street team over 40 people strong and full of dedicated bloggers and readers who support me every single day by pimping me out everywhere and anywhere!! I doubt that anybody would know who I am if I didn’t have all of you putting me out there and promoting me nonstop! It would take too long to name you all but know that you are all in my heart!
A year ago I didn’t even know any bloggers and barely did much reading at all so I am so honored to now have so many close blogger friends who consistently promote me, support me, inspire me, and let me steal their pages for takeovers! Bloggers are what make authors successful and I will never forget that. There is no way that I can list all of the blogs who have become a part of my heart but I do want to list a few that I adore!
Jodi from Butterflies, Books, and Dreams-I can’t even begin to thank you for listening to me vent and teaching me all about swag! Kathy from Panty Dropping Book Blog-I have no idea why you even decided to give me a second glance but I am so glad that you did!!! Christine from Hooked on Books and This Redhead Loves Books-thank you for starting me out in this industry and teaching me the ropes! Summer from Summer’s Book Blog-you are just amazing and you know it! Stephanie from Stephanie’s Book Reports-I am so excited that you are hosting Authors In The City next year and that I get to go!!! You have helped me so much and never hesitate to promote me! Milasy from The Rockstars of Romance-the moment you messaged me, I almost died in silly fan girl dramatics. Rozanne from Willow’s Corner-I am so glad to have found such a wonderful friend!
